Mention the Carmelite Sisters and the first thing that conjures up in my mind is Whoopi Goldberg in Sister Act. (Okay, I could have mentioned The Sound of Music because that was really the first time I ever saw a Carmelite nun in their distinctive habit but that would make me sound like I'm reeeeal old!). Oh…and also the nuns in Sister Act singing “I will follow Him…”…

(And before someone tells me that the habits in the Sister Act movie is really not a Carmelite nun's habit and should be a Dominican or Franciscan, let me admit that this is totally out of my league!)

Anyway, I digressed. Actually, an email came from the Carmelite Sisters of Seremban and I have posted it here word for word:
