Saturday 15 April 2006 Water...the symbol of baptism. It was in abundance this evening as the sky practically poured bucket loads down upon the earth. Quite refreshing actually, but parking spots are rare commodities during Easter Vigil and I was not really too keen to run in the rain. Although the Vigil mass started at 9:30 pm, the facilitators had to turn up at 7:30 pm to set up the hall at the Assumption Family House. |

Saturday, 25 Mar 2006 With less than a month till baptism on Easter Vigil, the RCIA Elects of Assumption PJ participated in a retreat at Dominic Villa. Dominic Villa, located near Genting View resort, is within an hour's drive from Kuala Lumpur. With a cool climate, it is an ideal venue for retreats.

Sunday, 19 March 2006 With Easter Vigil just under a month away, the RCIA Elects prepare themselves spiritually during this period of Lent. At the 8:30 am mass today, the Elects celebrated the Rite of First Scrutiny in front of the congregation.
Wow! The creed looks nice! Who did it ah? Sure no mistakes ah? |

I have seen this Flash animation countless times and I still can't get tired of it. In fact, till today, many people (including yours truly) are awed by the splendid presentation of Creation. Just click on this link. Turn on your volume too, because there is a beautiful piano rendition of Pachelbel's Canon. Created by Kids4Truth, a non-denominational, non-profit organisation. |

An anecdotal insight into the life of Andre Paul Louis Volle. Born on 15 Feb 1923 in a village called Dornas in France. From shepherd boy to shepherd for Christ, he is known to us as Rev Fr Andrew Volle, MEP.
Well written by Eugenie Carroll, this book will keep you engrossed. With photos since the early days of Fr Volle as a boy, this is a must get for all those who wish to know about our favourite priest.
At the cost of RM15, this book is now available at the church. |
